Written for and dedicated to Hudson Vally artist and musician Jamie Williams Grossman, Cara Jamie is a re-working of my 2019 CARA Quartet. Sensitivity, passion, altered chords, poignancy, tenderness and appreciation of artistic beauty are engaged musically in this work to express my heartfelt admiration for Jamie, my longtime friend and musical colleague.
